Description

Western Technology is very aware of the urgent need to address the safety of workers in our current pandemic situation. We have the technology and capability to ensure deployment of a dependable germicidal UVC light system. Our solution is the WT GERM KILLER®. This UV-C LED light is built around our existing BODYLight™ platform that is currently used by our marine, industrial and aviation customers. It is a rugged handheld battery-operated light now equipped with 275nm UVC LEDs.

The WT GERM KILLER® uses Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI). UVGI is a disinfection method that uses short wavelength ultraviolet (UV-C) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.

The technology we use is 99.9% effective in killing or inactivating mold and mold spores, bacteria including MRSA, TB, E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, C. diff spores, CRKP, VRE and all viruses including colds, flu, measles, HIV Retrovirus, Infectious Hepatitis, Norovirus and the Coronavirus.

(Report No.: 103190396CRT-002) The BODYLight™ Battery Pack passed all test procedures for Altitude Simulation, Thermal Test, Vibration, Shock, External Short Circuit, and Overcharge/Discharge, ensuring its compliance and safety for air and ground transportation.
