HOW TO USE:

1. Prepare the System: Ensure the vehicle’s A/C system is properly charged or has sufficient refrigerant for the dye to circulate.
2. Connect the Injector: Screw the 8 oz BigEZ™ Universal/Ester dye cartridge (TP9770-8) securely into the EZ-Shot™ caulking gun-style dye injector assembly (TP9749).
3. Attach Hose: Depending on the vehicle’s refrigerant type, attach either the TP11 R-134a hose/coupler or the TP9831 R-1234yf adapter to the injector.
4. Connect to A/C Port: Connect the appropriate hose/coupler or adapter to the low-side service port of the vehicle’s A/C system.
5. Purge Air (R-134a hose only): If using the R-134a hose (TP11), briefly press the purge fitting to release any air from the hose before injecting the dye into the system.
6. Inject Dye: Squeeze the trigger of the EZ-Shot™ injector to introduce the desired amount of fluorescent dye into the A/C system. Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines for dye quantities, if available.
7. Circulate Dye: Run the vehicle’s A/C system for approximately 5-10 minutes to allow the dye to thoroughly circulate with the refrigerant and oil.
8. Inspect for Leaks: Using a separate UV leak detection lamp (not included), scan all A/C components, hoses, and fittings. Any glowing areas indicate a leak.
