HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 3.93-inch (100mm) diameter opening in your vehicle’s dashboard or instrument panel and securely mount the Speedhut tachometer.
- Connect the Power and Lighting Harness: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a suitable power source in your vehicle, ensuring proper polarity. This harness will also power the LED illumination of the gauge.
- Connect the Tachometer Signal Harness: Based on your diesel engine’s available signal output, connect the 8 ft Htz Tachometer Harness to the appropriate terminal:
- Alternator: Connect to the ‘R’ or ‘W’ terminal on your alternator.
- Crank Sensor: Connect to the designated RPM output wire from your crank position sensor.
- Magnetic Pulse Sensor: Connect to the signal output wire from your magnetic pulse sensor.
- Ground the Gauge: Ensure the gauge has a proper ground connection for accurate readings.
