HOW TO USE:

1. Preparation: Identify a suitable location on your dashboard for mounting the 4 1/2-inch tachometer. Ensure there is enough clearance behind the dashboard for the gauge and wiring.
2. Drilling (if necessary): If there isn’t an existing 4.250-inch (108mm) hole, carefully drill one at the chosen location.
3. Mounting the Gauge: Insert the tachometer into the drilled hole from the front of the dashboard. Secure it using the included gauge mounting ring from the back, tightening it until the gauge is firmly in place.
4. Wiring – Power and Lighting: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness. Typically, this involves connecting to a 12V power source (preferably ignition-switched), a ground, and potentially a lighting circuit if applicable. Refer to your vehicle’s wiring diagram.
5. Wiring – Tachometer Signal: Connect the 8 ft Tachometer Harness to the tachometer. The single wire with the 2-pin connector should connect to the negative (-) side of the ignition coil or to a tachometer signal wire from your ECU. Refer to your service manual for the correct connection point.
6. Testing: Start the engine and observe the tachometer to ensure it is receiving a signal and displaying accurate RPM as the engine speed varies.
7. Final Adjustments: Neatly route and secure all wiring to prevent damage or interference.
