HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2.67-inch (68mm) opening in your desired location and secure the gauge using the included mounting ring.
- Install the Temperature Probe: Mount the EGT/Ultra Low Type K probe in the exhaust stream at a location that provides a representative reading of the exhaust gas temperature. Ensure the 9-foot braided steel line is routed safely away from heat sources and moving parts.
- Connect the Wiring Harness: Connect the 3-foot Power & Lighting Harness to a suitable power source in your vehicle’s electrical system. This harness will also power the LED illumination of the gauge.
- Connect the Probe to the Gauge: Connect the other end of the EGT/Ultra Low Type K probe’s wiring to the corresponding terminals on the back of the Speedhut gauge. Refer to the gauge’s wiring diagram for correct connections.
- Verify Functionality: Once all connections are made, start your vehicle and observe the gauge to ensure it is receiving power and displaying temperature readings.
