HOW TO USE:
- Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 2 1/16 inch (52mm) opening in your vehicle’s instrument panel. Secure the gauge in place using the spin-lock ring.
- Install the Temperature Probe: Identify an appropriate location in your exhaust manifold or downpipe for the K Type Thermocouple Temp Probe. Drill and tap a hole if necessary, ensuring the probe is positioned correctly to read exhaust gas temperature.
- Connect the Probe Wiring: Run the wiring from the K Type Thermocouple Temp Probe to the back of the gauge. Connect the wires according to the gauge’s wiring diagram.
- Connect Power and Lighting: Connect the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a suitable power source in your vehicle and to the corresponding terminals on the back of the gauge. This will provide power for the gauge’s operation and illumination.
- Verify Operation: Once all connections are made, start your vehicle and observe the gauge. The gauge should begin displaying the exhaust gas temperature. Ensure the readings are within the expected range for your engine’s operating conditions.
