SCREW FIT – VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ!
Not all bench planes use this 7/32″ x 20tpi “Whitworth” threaded screw design from England. If your rear handle screw or front knob screw is NOT 7/32″ OD x 20tpi, the longer screw with our rear handle (and the front knob screw that we sell separately), will NOT fit the threads in the casting of your plane.This is especially true with newer Stanley planes because they made changes to the screw threads they use on their planes.
