Oneway Spindle Steady
Oneway’s spindle steady improves on a time-honored tool for dampening vibrations in long, thin spindles, which will vibrate during turning no matter how massive and well-tuned your lathe, or how sharp your tooling. The Oneway spindle steady uses up virtually no swing, and sets up for either left- or right-handed use. The wheels absorb even more vibration and adjust quickly with a scissoring action. The Oneway spindle steady lets you use a wider variety of cuts & cutting styles to get the finish you want. More importantly, it’s a great safety device—when an unexpected catch destroys the spindle you’re working on, you’d really rather not have your hand wrapped around it!
Fits spindles 1/2″ to 3″ in diameter. Includes mounting hardware.
Clamp Block
The Spindle Steady requires aclamp block, which is lathe specific and sold separately.
