Nordic Pure 10x10x1PM10C-6 Furnace Air Filters MERV 10 Pleated Plus Carbon 6 Pack – 10x10x1 are made of a dual material where the MERV rated media is fused together with a carbon layer. These filters help eliminate unwanted odors while trapping most airborne dust and particulate matter for fresh, clean air. Odorous gases and vapors (VOC) are attracted to and held by the activated carbon material while maintaining excellent airflow. All Nordic Pure pleated air filters are manufactured using a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra support. The permanently electrostatically charged material acts like a magnet to help dust cling to the filter. Nordic Pure’s anti-microbial air condition filter media inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold for a healthier environment. MERV 10 Plus Carbon filters are comparable to filters rated MPR 900-1000. We recommend changing your air filter every 30-90 days to maintain maximum efficiency and economy.
