The Magswitch Starter Kit is the economical entry point into the Magswitch Workholding System. Based on the incredibly strong Magswitch “on-off” magnets, the Starter Kit includes theUniversal Base, two removableMag Jig150’s (clamp force 150 lbs.) that can also be used in your own jigs and fixtures and theReversible Featherboard Attachmentthat mounts to the base and that can be used on either side of the blade.

Magswitch featherboards grip with incredible force that is applied or released with a simple turn of a knob. The Magswitch system holds stock firmly for controlled ripping, routing, shaping, jointing and other operations. Use it on any cast iron or steel surface, including smaller surfaces such as bandsaw or sander tables as well as vertically on various fences.Experience the fast set-up, the flexibility of left or right feeds, the assurance of safety against kickbacks and the precision tensioning against a work piece. And none of this requires a miter slot!
