The new INCRA PushGuard combines an oversized push block with both an integrated hand guard and a removable debris shield, giving you triple the safety features of conventional push blocks. The hand guard is designed to always be positioned between your hand and the cutter, an important safety feature for those times when a traditional guard cannot be attached to your fence. The clear, removable deflector shield blocks flying debris to help protect your eyes as well as your hands. In addition to its superior safety features, the PushGuard will improve your work-piece control and accuracy. The rubber pad on the bottom of the push block is a generous 7-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and provides the perfect gripping surface for smooth or rough cut lumber — no slipping! Additionally, the PushGuard’s ergonomic handle has been smoothed all the way around with deep ribbing on both sides for a comfortable, powerful grip, and its large diameter enables you to operate it with both hands for more control. The handle is also slightly offset from vertical to better align with your shoulder and provide extra clearance between you and the cutter.
