Description
The US-430 Universal Support Bar gives you additional reach so you can sharpen larger blades like cleavers, machetes and long knives. Like the standardUS-105, this support includes a micro-adjust scale & nut. It is 436mm (17-3/16″) long – that’s 100mm (4″) longer than the US-105. The support bar length includes ~50mm (2″)on the short side so you can use the honing wheel without repositioning in some cases. The legs are 200mm (8″) long – that’s 55mm (2-3/16″) longer than the US-105.
The US-430 can be mounted in three positions on your Tormek machine.
- Veritcally for sharpening into the edge
- Horizontally for sharpening away with the edge
- Horizontally on the honing wheel side (for honing)
Machine Fit
The US-430 is compatible with TormekT-8, T-7,T-4, T-3 and older machines (model 2000, etc.).
