Description

3 Ton Ratchet Type Arbor Press ~ Ratcheted lever lowers the ram to provide up to 3 tons of force. ~ Handwheel quickly advances the ram for initial positioning. ~ The ratcheted lever lowers the ram onto the object and can be set at a comfortable position for the user. ~ Smooth action gears enable fine control over ram movement with the lever. ~ Counterweight repositions the lever to the top after a downstroke to reduce strain and quickly prepare for the next task. ~ Open base and slotted table plate provide support for solid objects as well as an outlet for arbors and similar items to pass through. ~ The plate can be removed or rotated to one of its 5 openings of varying diameters depending on the requirements of the application. The ram cap can be adjusted using the included 0.008″- and 0.015″-thick shims to adjust the ram forwards and backwards and to compensate for wear. The set screw adjusts the ram sideways. Three 0.52″-dia. holes are located on the base to enable bench mounting. Mounting hardware is not included. Press is assembled. ~ Maximum work diameter is 13″. ~ Maximum work height is 17.5″. ~ Throat depth is 6.5″. ~ Ram is 1-1/4″. ~ Leverage ratio is 38:1. ~ Press is 28″ Tall X 10″ Wide X 22″ Long.
