The pleated design provides three times as much carbon media per filter while maintaining excellent airflow. These filters feature a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for added durability. Suitable for use as a stand-alone filter in residential settings or as a pre-filter in high-efficiency commercial HVAC units, they effectively remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as chemicals from household cleaning products.
