Veritas Honing Guide

Veritas original honing guide rides on a brass roller 1-3/16″ wide, offering excellent stability. Plane irons & chisels are held in place by a wide swivel foot driven by a large knurled brass knob.The jig accepts blades up to 2-1/2″ wide and up to 5/8″ thick.An optional magnetic accessory holds blades too short for any other honing guide to handle.

The guide roller is mounted on an eccentric axle which can be set to increase the angle by your choice of 1° or 2° for very quick and totally controlled final honing.
