The IP-D220-LHS 2 225-SW interface pad dampens the PLANEX LHS 2 225 application pressure when sanding very soft compounds. This creates perfect surfaces even on very soft substrates. The interface pad is simply attached to the PLANEX abrasive pad with a hook-and-loop fastener, then users can work with an abrasive as usual (we recommend Granat Net).

UPDATE:

In response to customer feedback, Festool has reengineered this product to be thicker and more durable. The package will now contain 1 of these improved interface pads. These new pads are available now and have begun shipping!
