The Festool Boom Arm makes your Dust Extractor and Sander easier to use. This set includes everything you need to install the Boom Arm on your Festool Dust Extractor. The boom holds the extraction hose and power cord for your sander up off the floor and out of the way while you’re sanding.The outriggers keep your dust extractor stable, even with the boom arm attached.The Boom Arm includes a extension hose & extension cord. Add them to the cord from your tool and the hose from your dust extractor and you’re ready to go.Thetool holder, which mounts on the boom arm, holds two sanders within easy reach.

Different dust extractors have slightly different mounts.Check your dust extractor model to make sure you order the right version.

Important Notes

In order to install the Boom Arm Set on the CT 26, CT 36 & CT 48 models,you will have to permanently remove the cord wrap from the back of the dust extractor. (You will still be able to store the cord in the hose garage.)

The Boom Arm includes a 5 foot extension cord and 5 foot extension hose. Itrequiresthe standard 3.5M (11ft) hose from your CT dust extractor to reach all the way from the vacuum inlet port to the working end of the boom arm.

Likewise, the included extension cordrequiresstandard 4M (13ft) Plug-It Cordfrom one of your tools to reach the working end of the boom arm. If you do not want to dedicate one of your cords to the boom arm, we offer them separately. (For a decdicated cord, we recommend the 16 gauge Plug-It cord because it is compatible with all Festool Plug-It tools.
