Pro-Series 3″ Boring Head with 1-1/2″-18 Threads ~ Bar holder moves freely and smoothly. ~ Design assures superior rigidity for chatter-free boring and precise hole size accuracy. ~ Hardened and ground adjusting screw designed for long lasting and trouble free use. ~ Tool capacity is up to 3/4″. ~ Maximum offset is 1″. ~ Features a .001″ direct reading dial screw for maximum accuracy. ~ Our boring heads have three components including the boring head body, the bar holder/insert holder, and the dial screw. The gib tension has been preset at the factory. The gib screws should not be loosened to make size adjustments. These screws are for adjusting the gib.
