HOW TO USE:

1. Disconnect Power: Begin by disconnecting the negative terminal of your vehicle’s battery to ensure safety during installation.
2. Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable position on your dashboard or instrument panel and drill a 2.67-inch (68mm) diameter hole. Insert the gauge into the hole and secure it using the provided mounting hardware.
3. Connect the Temperature Sensor: Install the included Speedhut temperature sensor in the appropriate port on your engine. Connect the 2-wire cable from the sensor to the designated terminals on the back of the gauge.
4. Connect Power and Lighting: Using the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness, connect the power wire to a switched +12V source in your vehicle, the ground wire to a suitable ground point, and the lighting wire to your vehicle’s headlight or instrument panel light circuit if you desire the gauge to illuminate with your other lights.
5. Reconnect Power: Once all wiring connections are secure, reconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle’s battery.
6. Set the Warning Light (Optional): With the gauge powered off, press and hold the button on the back. While holding, power the gauge on. Release the button when the warning light activates. The pointer will move; press the button at your desired low and high warning points as indicated by the pointer movement.
7. Verify Operation: Start your vehicle and observe the gauge to ensure it is displaying the oil temperature correctly. Check that the warning light functions as expected when the set temperature thresholds are reached.
