Description
Like their larger cousins, the hand cut wood rasps, these hand cut rifflers are efficient at removing material, while leaving a surprisingly nice surface finish when compared to machine cut rasps.
The teeth are hand punched onto carbon steel blanks with a 49 RC hardness and have slightly irregular teeth spacing, so they won’t leave deep furrows in the wood fibers.These double ended rifflers have a medium fine grade of cut and come in different profiles to help you shape and sculpt into tight areas with ease.
They measure 7″ OAL.Each cutting end is 2″ long.
The Flat V, Rectangular, Knife and Half Round profiles are approximately 3/8″ wide.
The Oval, Triangular, Square and Round profiles are approximate 1/4″ wide.
