W1216A Planer Pal®, One Pair

A magnetic planer knife setting jig.

This knife-setting system lets you set planer knives in perfect alignment every time!

Shift nicked knives on 2-1/2″ to 4″ diameter cutterheads to get a perfect cut to an accuracy of ±0.002″.

The middle bar of each Planer Pal jig is adjustable to match the height of the knives currently set in your planer. A setscrew allows it to be locked in place.

For best results, remove and replace knives one at a time.

Two jigs are needed for 12″ to 20″ planers. Three jigs are needed for planers over 20″.
