Lie-Nielsen Carcass Saw
Modeled on 19th century joinery saws, these are among the best you can buy for dovetailing & carcass joinery. Beveled brass backs lend perfect heft and stiffness, so they cut with virtually no added pressure from you.The Carcass Saw blade is 0.020″ thick with a 14 ppi (crosscut) tooth and a very fine .003″ set per side. Usable blade is 14″ long by 2-1/4″ to the brass back. Overall it’s 19″ long by 4-7/8″ high. Each saw comes with use and maintenance tips.
